Safe Installation in High End Homes
We can provide a variety of safes to meet our clients’ needs from very beautiful Dottling safes, which are hand made in Germany and finished in the finest leather, to excellent quality Robur safes made in Sweden. Many of the safes we supply are bespoke and made to the required dimensions and security rating.
Safe Security Standards
This is a complicated subject because insurance companies take other factors into account beyond the quality of a safe, ie is it housed in a home that is occupied or an office that is empty at night time? Is there a monitored alarm system? How secure is the property? How long will it take the police to arrive if the alarm is activated? Also, there are a lot of different standards that are used as well. One of the most common is EN 1143-1 Grade 1-V. As a rule of thumb, Grade 1 will cover at least £10,000 of cash and £100,000 of jewellery whereas a grade V will cover £100,000 cash and £1,000,000 of jewellery.
