St. Johns Wood Penthouse

PROJECT OVERVIEW

KAV worked on two penthouses for this luxury project in St. John’s Wood. Initially both penthouses were a mirror of each other and had the same spec, however during the progress of the project another level was added to one of the penthouses and a cinema room was added. Our client Seqoya, high-end property developers in London, had a main specification for both penthouses that focussed on luxury. Therefore, KAV specified Crestron as an advanced and established home control system. We then integrated Lutron Lighting & Shading control and an HVAC system. All audio visual appliances, lights, blinds & curtains as well as HVAC are controlled by one integrating system – Crestron.

The system comprises of a centralised all house music, fitted with Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers in all bedrooms, en-suits and other rooms of the house, including the main terrace. The drawing room comprises of 7.1 system and a 65″ television, the video system consists of a few different sources such as; Sky, Apple TV and Blu-Ray.

There are more than 80 circuits of lights in each penthouse, which allows for flexible integrated lighting design. The lights and shades can be controlled via the Crestron or the wired Lutron keypads throughout the apartment.
