House and Lighting Control Systems in St John’s Wood

In this project in St John’s Wood we have worked on two penthouses.  Initially both penthouses were a mirror of each other and had the same spec, however during the progress of the project another level was added to one of the penthouses and a cinema room was added.  Our client Seqoya, property development London had a main specification for both penthouses and that was Luxury and Cretron, a strong & established system as a whole house control system, we then integrated Lutron Lighting & Shading control with it and the HVAC system.  All audio visual appliances, lights, blinds & curtains and HVAC are controlled by one integrating system – Crestron.

The system comprises of a centralised all house music, fitted with Bowers & Wilkins in-ceiling speakers in all bedrooms, en-suits and other rooms of the house, including the main terrace.  The drawing room comprises of 7.1 system and a 65″ television, the video system consists of a few different sources such as; Sky, Apple TV, Blu-Ray and etc.

There are more than 80 circuits of lights in each penthouse, which allows for a flexible and comfortable lighting design.  The lights & shades can be controlled via the Crestron or the wired Lutron keypads throughout the apartment.
